Able to listen to voicemail attachments to emails on my phone. Pops up with a simple player that allows easy switching to speaker mode on my phone.
Plus wav voicemail files that a pixel 6 can't.
Won't play email attachments. Refund denied.
I received a warning that it was written for an older version of Android, but it worked fine on my Pixel 6 Pro with Android 12. The same thing happened a year ago when I installed it on my Pixel 5. I also used it in my Pixel 3. I've used WavPlayer on 3 phones for more than 4 years and it has always worked reliably.
Seems to work fine on Pixel 6 with Android 12. The first time I ran it, I got a warning saying the app was written for an older version of Android, but I dismissed it with few issues. Minor hiccups: defaults to earpiece only (should be auto) and custom decoder (not necessary for me, wav and amr files). Also, interface is somewhat dated. Should probably be refreshed and retargeted after six years!
Not working
Excellent customer service. I had a setting wrong in my gmail and couldn't listen to the mp3 file attachment. Dennis responded immediately explaining the setting change I needed to make.
Useful but has issues. Looking for app to play wav attachments from Outlook. Really like the small window with play controls. Using Samsung Galaxy S10 with Android 10. Problems are: • Need close button to abort playback • Volume button works sometimes to display system control, then doesn't work • Volume defaults to system Media setting, but volume button changes to full volume (way too loud) and changes the system setting (bad) • Would be helpful to show attachment location to delete the file
This is the BEST yet SIMPLE Player to use to play your voicemails via email and MP3 contents from WhatsApp! Very easy to set up, in fact, you DON'T EVEN need a MANUAL to use it!
It used to be great. But I just today got a notice from Samsung that it's no longer supported, and to look for an update. Lo and behold, no update.so now I have to find another product that may or may not work with our phone.
